Description: John Bull is one of the hardest and most famous trails in the San Bernardino National Forest. Also known as the little Rubicon, it is field after field of large rocks. Short wheel based vehicles with a lift and at least 31 inch tires are minimum. Skid plates are recomended as is a traction device (locker or posi-traction).

Some spots require 33's this is a warning. If you feel you are capable of traversing it with a good spotter and possibly the need for being pulled out of some situations feel free to come, but I have to let you know what may be needed for the trail. If you want to ride along and see what its like, let me know and I'll direct you to the folks who are going to see if they have seats open (which includes me). We may be having guests from Sons of Thunder (felow Christian 4-wheelers) join us.

Please, if you can have a CB radio that works and have your vehicle in good working condition with no leaks (fluid or exhaust). Bring your tools and trail gear with you.

We will be leaving early as a caravan so everyone gets there at the same time. If you can not at all make the caravan, we can set up a second meeting place. We will try and meet at the 76 Station on El Norte Parkway just off I-15 in Escondido which is on the way to San Bernardino. I will confirm this as the event grows closer. The Second meeting place, if needed, would be in Fawnskin in Big Bear.

We currently have 4-5 vehicles who have RSVP'd and I have set 10 to be the maximum number of rigs (not people) for this trail not including any unsaved friends invited. As usual weather and participation can also change the events dates, time or cancel it so ALWAYS RSVP.
