As a result of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti...
- Much of its capital, Port-au-Prince, was reduced to rubble.
- Officials estimate death toll at 230,000 as aftershocks continue.
- Nearly 200,000 are injured.
- An estimated 2 million are homeless.
- 300,000 children younger than 2 yrs old need nutritional support.
What Can I Do?
The Rock has partnered with Samaritan’s Purse and World Vision, two Christian relief organizations that already work in Haiti, and has initiated Rock Outreach Haiti relief efforts. Note: 100% of your donation will go toward Haiti relief work.

What the Rock Is Doing
[February 6, 2010] Thank you Rock Church family! Rock Outreach Haiti relief efforts have raised over $50,000 in support of Samaritan’s Purse, World Vision and Firefighters for Christ -- Christian relief organizations already at work in Haiti. We are also funding neighborhood community relief efforts. There is so much work to do. Thank you for your continued support of this unprecedented humanitarian effort.
Rock Church donations are in the hands of World Vision workers in Haiti.
Funds from the Rock Church are supporting on-the-ground efforts by Samaritan's Purse.

The man was sprawled on the side of the road, badly beaten and covered with dust. No one stopped to help him until Jerry White and three friends came by on their way back to the temporary Port-au-Prince clinic they were stationed at.
White attends the Rock Church and is a former San Diego firefighter who rushed to Haiti after the January 12 earthquake along with a crew of volunteers, mostly from Southern California, who are part of an organization called Firefighters for Christ.
