The Follow Up Ministry (directly or indirectly) reaches and touches every guest and area of the church, working closely with our guests and partnering with Ministry Leaders, Pastors, Rock Church Personnel and Volunteers.

Our ministry verse exemplifies this perfectly: "But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes growth of the body for the building up of itself in love." Ephesians 4:15-16

The Follow Up Ministry has an EXTREME need for volunteers!!! Without your help, reaching people (in need) cannot happen. Please prayerfully consider our open positions, and fill out/ submit the below volunteer application forms (email, fax or drop off at the information table). All volunteers are trained and worked with closely. Hours can be weekdays, evenings and Sundays - we'll work around YOUR schedule! Data Entry Volunteer

The Data Entry Volunteer is the backbone of the Rock's information system (Fellowship One). This critical role touches every person in the church and its importance cannot be overstated. Each volunteer partners with ministry leaders, pastors, and other volunteers ensuring all Rock people are followed up on and/or routed to the appropriate ministry.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Entering People's information into the Rock's Fellowship One information system.
2. Learning the functionality of the Fellowship One Information System.

Skill Set:

1. Basic Computer Skills.
2. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
3. Can volunteer 4+ hours a month.

Follow Up Ambassador

The Follow Up Ambassador is the face and voice and of the ministry. This dynamic and exciting role personally touches our guests coming into the Rock. If a person has a question or is looking for information, Follow Up is there to help. If they have a need that falls outside specific ministries, we are there to personally meet the guest. Once we've met them, we'll stay connected with that guest until they've been plugged into a specific ministry or their need is met. As an ambassador, you'll also partner with a varied pool of people, personally and through the telephone/email. Each volunteer will partner with ministry leaders, pastors and the Follow Up Coordinator reaching out to all areas of the church and the church body.

Responsibilities:

1. Meeting with guests.
2. Making phone calls in a timely manner.
3. Partnering with Ministries and Pastors.
4. Being a point of contact for our guests.

Skill Set:

1. Comfortable meeting and calling people.
2. Christ centered attitude/personable.
3. Basic Computer Skills.
4. Can volunteer 4+ hours a month.

Follow Up Team Leader/Trainer Volunteer

The Follow Up Team Leader/Trainer is a critical role tying in and co-managing various areas of the Follow Up team. The Leader/Trainer will work with, guide, and train/encourage the Data Entry Volunteers and Follow Up Ambassadors as well as interface with various ministry leaders and the Follow Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

1. Meet with guests.
2. Being a point of contact for our guests.
3. Direct liaison with Follow Coordinator.
4. Liaison with the Follow Up Team.
5. Partnering with other ministry leaders and church personnel.
6. Training people on the Rock's Fellowship One information system.
7. Help coordinate meetings and parties.
8. Making phone calls in a timely manner.
9. Data Entering People's information into the Rock's Fellowship One information system.

Skill Set:

1. Strong Inter-Personal Skills.
2. Pleasant Demeanor with an Outgoing Christ Led Personality.
3. Basic Management Skills.
4. Competent Computer Skills with a focus on accuracy.

All volunteers must first fill out an application form - please note, a background check will also be conducted. Volunteers can start serving after the application is approved (typically a few days).
