Hiking with SPF is a ministry to appreciate what the Lord has designed right here in San Diego. This ministry is meant for Christians and non Christians who are not only looking for a physical challenge but something greater themselves.
Our PurposeThe Hiking ministries purpose is to be in direct contact with God’s creation while also taking care of his temple.
S – Spiritual: 2 Timothy 2:15. “Rightly dividing the word of truth…” Spending time on each hike in the word while surrounded by God’s glory!
P – Purposeful: Genesis 1:26. Let us “Man” take care of God’s land. Every third weekend we will be involved in a trail clean up. Keeping San Diego trails clean and garbage free!
F – Physical with an F: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. “You Should know that Your Body is a Temple for the Holy Spirit Who is In You. You have received the Holy Spirit from God. So you do not belong to Yourselves, because you were bought by God for a price. So honor God with your Bodies.” TAKE CARE of it!

The Hiking Ministry is enjoying Gods Outdoor Beauty Saturdays or Sundays with all different levels of hiking. We hike at all different times depending on the weather, difficulty and distance. Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve: JULY 19 · 2 PM
First hike will be at 2pm at Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve.. The hike is 3.2 miles round trip. From Highway 78 take rancho santa fe road south. Go east on San Elijo Road about 5 miles to the Elfin Forest Recreational Rerserve parking lot. Should take about 2.5 hours. Moderate hike difficulty. I would still like everyone to email me should they want to attend so that I can ensure that everyone has proper supplies!!
