Hip Hop Ministry (Rock Steady)

Rock Steady Hip Hop Ministry is an outreach ministry of the Rock Church in San Diego, CA. The company was formed by Celebrity Dancer Brandon Henschel, with the vision of taking Professional Hip Hop Dance to the community in the form of evangelistic outreach.

The Company uses popular music in today’s industry and utilizes sermons as the lyrics for the music, bringing the life saving message of the Gospel in the form of cutting edge hip hop dance. By engaging audiences in their performances, Rock Steady is also able to give testimonials by its members of the incredible things God has done in their lives. These testimonials are meant to share with people how God has brought them out of the darkest moments of their life, to experience the “Truth” of God through Jesus Christ, and how that “Truth” has set them free.

Rock Steady Hip Hop Ministry has a weekly class, taught by Brandon Henschel and a small group bible study that meets directly afterwards. Through these classes, people are able to experience a professional level of hip hop training in a Christian Atmosphere, and be discipled in a way that will bring you closer to God and equip you with the ability to share with others the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to bring “them out of darkness and into his wonderful light”.
