What the Homeless Ministry Needs from YOU

We MOST OF ALL need prayer that

this ministry can continue

to do the Lord's will,

and will eventually touch the lives

of every homeless person

                              in San Diego.

It's A New Day and Bread of Life outreaches (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)

We need:

• Morning / Weeknight Outreach Leaders
• Volunteers attending the morning / weeknight outreaches
• Volunteers to pick up donations from Starbucks, Einstein's Brothers Bagels, and Panera Bread locations in San Diego
• Donations of food, water, juices, fruit, chips, granola bars, sandwiches; clothes, sleeping bags, socks/underwear, and backpacks

Church Without Walls (Saturdays)

We need:

• Church Without Walls Coordinators (2)
• Worship Leaders
• Security Ministry
• Children's Ministry
• Prayer and Referral Table Volunteers : the goal is to have 6-10 people there EVERY Saturday ready and willing to pray with the homeless, to encourage them in their relationships with Christ, and to contact homeless shelters and rehabilitation centers and transitional homes in the San Diego area to help the homeless get off the streets. There is a new form that will help guide volunteers in a conversation to gather information so that the ministry will know how best to help them.

General Ministry:

• Accountability Partners for the homeless
• Bible Study leaders (to host/lead bible studies for the homeless)
• Marriage and Relationship counselors/mentors for the homeless
• Small Group Leaders (to lead homeless in small groups)
• Legal Advisors (for the homeless and the ministry)
• Medical Advisors for the homeless at our Church Without Walls outreach
• Small Project Managers to lead fundraisers and ministry events
• Artists (to draw us logos and designs for our merchandise)
• Photographers (To take pictures of our outreaches)
• Videographers (To do interviews and testimonies of the homeless and vieos of our outreaches)
• "Brainstormers" (people to follow up on new ideas)
• Resource and referral leaders (assisting homeless into rehabs, centers, shelters)
• Event planners (RCHM "Get Togethers")
• Donation solicitors (Starbuck's, Panera Bread...etc.) and donation coordinators (coordinating donations from Rock Church members)
• Storage coordinators
• Transportation coordinators (rides to interviews, jobs, church functions, etc.)
• Researchers (research laws, events, and new ideas)
• Outside church coordinators (coordinate with surrounding churches homeless ministries)
• Assitant leader of "Colaborate" (coordinate with ministries in the church)
• Business managers
• Purchasers (San Diego Food Bank, Costco, Walmart, etc.)
