What we plan to do?
iServe plans to partner with other organizations to ensure that the Rock Church and community residents are being afforded the opportunity for spiritual and physical development through faith-based neighborhood programs.
How we will do it?
- By unleashing the resources of the Rock Church into the community for the advancement of being a witness for Christ and servant leaders to those in need
- By empowering the communities with practical life skills and development so they can be self-sufficient
- By educating the community spiritually and financially through workshops and Bible-based studies
- By engaging the community to take ownership of their families, community and those organizations in their respective areas for on-going services
How Does It Work?
By establishing a servant leader team of Community Service Leaders to serve their respective community and partner with churches, law enforcement and other civic leaders within their area. We will train the Community Service Leaders to do the following:
- Provide services that afford opportunities to increase the development of the community and increase local responsibility for program management and delivery
- Provide increased opportunities that have a significant effect on the overall well being of community residents
- Identify which communities have the highest needs and complete a strategic plan to assist them in their areas of need
- Train and direct grass root community (service) groups in strategic locations throughout the County of San Diego.
- Work with community leaders, including county and city officials and business organizations through the use of community trained volunteer coordinator/mentors in collaboration efforts for information sharing and joint commitment in providing services to the community residents
