How to get Involved

Considering that 50% of marriages started today will end in divorce, we recognize an immediate responsibility to help couples begin, build and sustain better marriages, families and to restore those threatened by divorce.

We’re calling on spiritually mature couples to join us in strengthening the home. If you and your spouse would like to join our team of Mentors please complete the Marriage Mentor Application for each of you and return it to us. If you and your spouse would like to be Mentored please complete the Mentoree Application, return it to us and we’ll match you up with an experience and trained couple.

Ministry Descriptions & Details

Position:   Pre-Marital Mentors (small group)

Requirements:  Complete & return the Mentor/Leader application;
                         Attend the Pre-Marital Mentor training

Curriculum:   Book: Preparing for Marriage – Rainey;
DVD: Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts – Parrott

Minimum Commitment: Lead two Pre-Marital small group sessions per year.

Position:   Marriage Mentors (couple to couple)

Requirements:  Complete & return the Mentor/Leader application;
                         Attend the Marriage Mentor training

Curriculum:   Marriage Mentor Training & Curriculum Manual

Minimum Commitment: Conduct six sessions with a Mentoree Couple over a 9 month period.

Position:   Marriage Builder Mentors (small group)

Requirements:  Complete and return the Mentor/Leader application;
                         Attend the Marriage Builder Mentor training

Curriculum:   DVD: I Promise – Smalley;
DVD: Love & Respect – Eggerich

Minimum Commitment: Lead two small group sessions per year
