I never thought about serving in parking at the Rock Church. After all, what “spirituality” can exists by serving in the parking lots and streets at Liberty Station? But, for me, what began as a volunteer job in the Rock Parking Ministry (RPM) has become a fulltime responsibility to share with a very special group of Christian leaders who love to humbly serve others.

RPM is a team ministry involving individuals who enjoy greeting people as the point of first contact for our church. In addition, RPM is also an action ministry where people come together to help solve difficult traffic problems. Lastly, as a team member we enforce traffic rules and regulations

I recommend that you try Parking at the Rock for 4 months, and see for yourself how God is spiritually blessing RPM volunteers through our unique, small team bonding experience. Professional training and certification will be provided.

Barry and Sandi ~ 8 am leaders

Barry & Sandi Age are a husband/wife team that run the 8:00 AM Parking Team at the Rock... We are known as the "A" Team as we are the first out of the gate on Sundays.

We decided to make this a husband /wife team a few years ago to make sure we worship together as well as serve together and maybe inspire other couples to serve in like manner. We also serve as marriage mentors, teach a Love & Respect class for married couples as well as teach pre-marital classes and facilitate a small group.

So no excuses, grab onto a ministry and get involved... remember...A servant's heart is all we ask in this ministry. We are all to practice what it says in Colossians 3: 23-24 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance.

It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. If you want a ministry that will stretch your interaction with people and teach you patience, you've found it... We need servant's with that kind of heart... Blessings!
