Recycling Ministry

D.U.H Recycling Ministry (Desperate, Underprivileged and Hungry) exists to serve and save the lives of D.U.H children that are stricken by severe, debilitating poverty. We do this by collecting and recycling C.R.V. beverage containers made from aluminum, plastic and glass from the members of the Rock Church and the local communities.

The funds collected from recycling provide D.U.H children with sponsorship into the World Vision HopeChild Program that provides them with things like; clean water, nutritious food, education, medical care and much, much more.

By partnering with World Vision we are helping tackle the wide variety of poverty issues these children face everyday while utilizing a Christian Humanitarian Relief Organization that introduces them to Christ’s love.

‘Do Something’

DUH Recycling Ministry challenges members of the Rock Church to reach out to at least five of their friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and invite them to save children’s lives with their bottles and cans. Asking for recyclables is an easy and un-intimidating way to reach people. You become a witness of Christ’s love to those who do not know Him, while exemplifying the Rock Church’s 'do something' attitude.
