SHORT TERM GOALS

We need 100 volunteers to run our program with full capacity.  20 people per service.

Our initial goal is to sponsor 500 children in our project area in Africa, along with emergency and special needs funding. For this we need to have a stable stream of recyclables coming in each month.

It costs $17,500.00 a month to sponsor 500 children into the HopeChild Program at $35.00 a month per child. 

That seems like a lot, but it's really not. Check this out, it would only take: 360 people participating in our 5 'n' 1 program (250 cans per week, 25 from self, 25 from 5 neighbors or friends and 100 from a work place). 

• 25 cans x 6 people (self + 5 neighbors) +100 cans from work = 250 cans per week 
• 360 people x 250 cans x 4 weeks = 360,000 cans a month
• 360,000 cans divided by 30 cans per lb = 12,000 lbs x $1.47 per lb = $17,640.00 a month.

LONG TERM GOALS

We would like to see every member of the Rock Church recycling their aluminum cans and plastic & glass bottles with us.  That will help us reach our ultimate goal of having each seat in the Rock Church sanctuary represented by a sponsored child.  We can reach this goal with the combined efforts of the recycling ministry and members personally sponsoring children. Click here to personally sponsor a child now! 

We want to serve and save the lives of all the children in our project area in Zambia. Help us be the felt hand of God in their lives, helping them reach out of poverty and the effects of it.

Using a resource so abundant, trash... to save and serve lives of people around the world while reaching them with Jesus is such a DUH thing!
