Same Sex Attraction Ministry
For many years the place where people were supposed to come to for help, encouragement, healing, and restoration; was the same place that was pushing them away with condemning words and unwilling hearts. Here at The Rock Church, we want to change that and share God's hope through His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
Our truth cannot constantly be changing. In regards to homosexuality, there are Christians who are homosexuals. It is not about whether or not God loves homosexuals, and He of course does, however just like every other Christian we have to follow God on God's terms. God designed us with a specific intent and the devil seeks to destroy that.
Mission Statement
The Same-Sex Attraction Ministry is a ministry dedicated to communicate the message of hope, restoration, and realization of God's calling to those who are lost and/or believe to be struggling with the destructive power of homosexuality in there lives- that all are called to be overcomers. This is a ministry that is safe, confidential, and ready to walk with you towards freedom in Jesus Christ.
Goals
The evidence of the hope, restoration, and calling is exemplified thru a Biblical foundation of compassion utilizing:
- Testimony/ Witness- Support to local HIV/AIDS Hospice
- Support/Accountability groups for men, women and families of SSA members
- Mentorship/ Discipleship Training for men and women
- Bible Study/ Prayer
