Rock the Word: The Rock Church Writers Ministry is for anyone with a love of words and a desire to use writing and editing gifts to glorify God.
Who We Are
We're professionals and amateurs, published authors and newbies. We're journalists, fiction writers, poets, screenwriters, playwrights, copy editors, business writers and grant writers -- and anything in between. All volunteers with open hearts toward learning and serving are welcome.
What We Do
The primary purpose of Rock the Word is to tell the Rock Church's stories of transformation. We want readers, whether from inside or outside the church family, to be encouraged, informed and inspired by what God is doing through His children. In addition, Rock the Word reaches out in other areas of writing, to provide a place where people can come together around a specialized interest. Through these affinity fellowships, we want to build one another up and foster personal relationships through regular meetings, occasional workshops, peer-to-peer critique, and scripture study.
