The Rock Academy honored our veterans with their annual Veterans Day Ceremony. It was a chance to share with the students and community the meaning of Veterans Day and honor those present who once served or are currently serving in the Armed Services. God Bless Our Troops.

Pastor Miles spent two days sharing at the National Outreach Convention last week. He was able to share about his new book, "DO Something: Make Your Life Count" to pastors and church leaders from all across the country. He challenged them to bring DO Something to their church and impact their community for Christ.

Simply Worship, an evening of extended worship met in the Rock Sanctuary. Hosted by the Rock Church Worship Arts, it featured Mike Clark, Stefanie Kelly, and the Rock House Band. It was a night of powerful worship.

The 2009 Men's Retreat at Pine Valley Conference Center was a great weekend of worship, fellowship, and God's Word. For many of the men it was their first retreat, which was a blessing to see. This was the largest men's retreat to date. God is definitely moving in the lives of men at the Rock.

The Junior High Ministry held their annual Halloback gathering. Take a look at some of the folks who got their pictures taken in the photo booth.

The Hope Event was a day of community outreach. The Homeless Ministry gave out all kinds of food, homeless kits, and clothing. There was also music, spoken word, mimes, and the Rock Hula Ministry performance.

Halloback is the Rock Jr Hi ministries annual alternative to what the world has to offer...It was an evening of great fun, games, and God's Word. Of course their was lots of candy, costumes and fear factor!

The Rock is a DO Something Church. We are praying about starting a Rock Satellite Campus in North County San Diego. Those interested in being part of this gathered in Del Mar to hear the vision from Pastor Miles, and to pray for God's guidance.
