The 2009 Men's Retreat at Pine Valley Conference Center was a great weekend of worship, fellowship, and God's Word. For many of the men it was their first retreat, which was a blessing to see. This was the largest men's retreat to date. God is definitely moving in the lives of men at the Rock.

The Junior High Ministry held their annual Halloback gathering. Take a look at some of the folks who got their pictures taken in the photo booth.

The Hope Event was a day of community outreach. The Homeless Ministry gave out all kinds of food, homeless kits, and clothing. There was also music, spoken word, mimes, and the Rock Hula Ministry performance.

The Rock is a DO Something Church. We are praying about starting a Rock Satellite Campus in North County San Diego. Those interested in being part of this gathered in Del Mar to hear the vision from Pastor Miles, and to pray for God's guidance.

The Rock's DO Something Southeastern San Diego Clean-Up was last Saturday. The Rock ARMY of volunteers helped the city clean up areas around Chollas Lake, Colina Del Sol Recreation Center, and the Jacobs Center. It's estimated that over 5,000 pounds of trash, leaves, and brush were cleared away. Thanks to all who served at the DO Something event.

The Rock ‘n Ride benefit motorcycle ride was successful. Riders joined Pastor Miles and Debbie to raise money for Step Up Foster Youth Mentor ministry at the Rock. It was a beautiful day for a ride. Everyone gathered at Liberty Station for the finish and had a great time.

People gathered in the Rock Sanctuary for the third ASK Prayer and Fasting event of this year. The Rock family prayed and sang worship for 12 hours for God to work in our church, our city, and our country.
