The Rock Academy welcomed the grandparents to school for the 1st time last week. It was great to see all the grandparents at school, going to chapel and classes with their grandkids. awesome possum!

This is the Academy's 1st season as a high school sport, and they are showing lots of heart and potential, certainly lots of action....take a look at some pics from the past few games.

Christmas Eve at the Rock was a great evening of praise & worship. It was standing room only as the Rock family came together to celebrate the birth of Christ and remember why He came...to reconcile sinful man to a perfect God. Thank you Jesus!

Crystal Lewis lead us in worship all 5 services the Sunday before Christmas. It was a great day to come together as a family, to sing praises & worship Christ the Sunday before Christmas. Pastor Miles concluded each service with the Good News of Christ & the hope we have because of His birth.

The Kids Choir blessed us this past Sunday all 5 services! They were so full of energy and excitement, it was contagious. God was definetly in the house, as the adult choir and Rock orchestra shared their gifts of music all 5 services as well. A great way to celebrate the season of Christ's birth.

The 11th annual Toys 4 Joy returned to Calvary Baptist Church in Barrio Logan for the 2nd year. It was another great event, families from all around the community came and heard the Good News of Christ, and thousands of toys & gifts for kids of all ages were given away. Praise God!

The MOTR were back in the mountains of Pine Valley, outside San Diego, for this years ADVANCE. This was a time to challenge the Men to "stop playin," get serious about the battle we all face, and take up their sword (God's Word) and advance on the enemy head on. Nate Larkin encouraged the men spiritually and God blessed the men with fresh snow during their stay.
