Those who finished the XBI class with Pastor Steve gathered for a time of celebration and fellowship at the Brown's. They met on Friday & Saturday evening so everyone had a chance to come. Their was lots of great food and fellowship for all who survived the class.

The Rock family celebrated the public baptism of several hundred folks on Saturday, July 14th. It was a beautiful afternoon in Coronado for a public declaration of their faith in Christ by getting baptised. There was a time of worship and God's Word, and after the baptism, there was food, fellowship and volleyball.

In these latest photos of our new home, you can see more exciting changes that have happened recently. The "grass" has been laid down on the field, and is almost ready for play, the entrance to the sanctuary is getting the final seal and then will receive a finishing wax & the classrooms are almost ready for school to start. The work on the sanctuary continues as well, with more carpeting, wood paneling, and sound wiring occuring. Now is the time to get involved. Start serving & get blessed.

More carpeting is being laid in the sanctuary, as well the wood paneling and marble in front of the stage. The workers are continuing to install wiring for the sound system and the stage floor is being worked on. Outside, the workers are preparing the play area for the artifical turf that the kids will play on, and preparing to lay forms for the area around the Trinity Trees. Continue to keep the workers in your prayers as they work to complete our new home at Liberty Station.

Keeping Love Alive was the theme of this years marriage retreat. It was a beautiful weekend in the desert to get-away & spend time with your spouse. Pastor Miles & Debbie shared their lives and insights from their marriage on friday nite and Dr. John Trent was able to share his passion for strong families & marriages with those present. John gave real, practical advice to the couples on how to keep love alive in their marriages, all in a fun & humorouse style that kept everyones attention. Praise God for a great weekend of learning & relaxation.

Revolution 2007 in Hemet was a huge success. It was the largest event ever staged in Hemet, with over 11,000 in attendence. West Valley HS, Mustang Stadium, was the site for Revolution, featuring music from Skillet, 7th Day Slumber & the Katinas, with Pastor Miles sharing the Good News both nights. The event saw over 1,000 people come forward for altar-call, with 510 people accepting Chirst for the 1st time. Praise God for all the folks who came forward, and for all the churches who made this event possible.

The Military Ministry of the Rock spent the afternoon serving the men and women who serve our country at the local USO. It was a great time to encourage, thank, and simply spend time talking with them, letting them know that they are all appreciated. They served them homemade pb&j sandwiches and cookies. Let's remember to keep those in the armed services in our prayers, and to thank them when you see them.

The Picture Galleries
The galleries are made possible by a collective effort from a team of photographers that make up the Photo Ministry. Their work is very much appreciated and, evidenced by their work, very well done.
